All CTS Turbo products are warrantied against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, consequential damages, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective the customer will receive, at the discretion of CTS Turbo, free repair or replacement. Warranty on other manufacturers will be processed under their terms.

CTS Turbo Sport Street Motor Mounts redefine the balance between comfort and performance. Engineered with high-durometer rubber, these mounts are built to withstand rigorous driving conditions while preserving ride comfort. By eliminating voids and fluids, the Sport Street Motor Mounts remove the common issues of factory mounts, such as excessive movement and the risk of leaks and collapse. Crafted from premium cast aluminum using OEM production methods, these mounts also feature electronic emulators, allowing for a straightforward, plug-and-play installation that maintains CEL-free operation for vehicles equipped with active motor mounts.

We chose high-durometer rubber over polyurethane for its superior damping properties plus the rubber’s ability to manage stress in both tension and compression makes it a better choice for motor mounts and bushings. Rubber is also highly effective in shear scenarios, where polyurethane often falls short. these mounts offer superior performance and reduced deflection compared to the stock motor mounts, all without the downsides of a liquid-filled design.

    There is going to be good and bad in this review and I’m trying to consider the pro’s and con’s.

    I installed a set of these on my wife’s B9 A4. Immediately upon startup and idle, I could tell I was going to have to rip them out and replace them with OEM.

    The NVH is much greater than expected. Prior with the active OEM mounts, you really couldn’t feel the engine vibration. The car was very smooth at idle. With these CTS mounts, it feels like the drivers seat is attached to the engine. You can really feel the vibration. Almost like a light massage chair. This is greatly reduced / is what you’d expect the additional NVH would be if you shift from D to S (as it raises the RPM).

    Without saying anything, I let my wife get in and her first comment was about why her seat was shaking. She said she’d drive a few times and see how she felt about it. But after the second drive, she said it just was annoying and she’d prefer OEM. She asked if there was a break-in period (which I was surprised but I guess she’s been around me long enough to know about such things!). I said it’s possible they may SLIGHTLY unstiffen. But it’s not likely it will make a massive difference.

    The good.. I can tell these are well made. So, they certainly will last longer than the OEM (lasted 55k before leaking but without the rubber tearing). They really make the car feel more planted and nearly eliminates the drivetrain slop.

    Unfortunately, these just aren’t a good fit for an OEM replacement without sacrificing comfort.

    I will say, I did not contact the company about returning as I had already installed them and will just take a hit re-selling them second hand. So, I cannot comment on that aspect of customer service. I will say they shipped them very quickly and again, the product seems high quality (zero issues with installation, etc..). So, if you do not mind a bit of additional vibration at idle for an increased drivability aspect. These mounts are for you.
