CTS Turbo is proud to announce our CTS IS38 replacement turbocharger for MQB vehicles.
Our IS38 replacement turbocharger can be installed into 2015-2020 MQB vehicles as a direct replacement for IS38 turbo; or as an upgrade to IS12 and IS20.
Please note that proper tuning software must be used when upgrading from a smaller turbo – check with your tuning software provider. Any IS38 software is compatible.
CTS Turbo downpipe and intercooler are recommended if upgrading.

Fitment is for all MQB-based EA888.3 vehicles (tuning required for IS12 and IS20 vehicles):
Installation is a straight-forward replacement of the factory turbo, using all OEM gaskets and hardware. Simply transfer your diverter valve or BOV and wastegate actuator (not included).
Hardware required (not included):
NOTE: Always follow the proper procedure for checking/adjusting the wastegate actuator when installing the turbo! Always replace engine oil and prime the turbocharger before starting. Professional installation recommended.

Great quality for the price, installed and running well so far. Just wish more details was provided, there’s nothing on the internet giving any details, for example it says “Upgraded turbine shaft and bearings” but no actual details anywhere. Turbo was packaged really well, low key was hoping for a CTS Turbo sticker but wasn’t lucky, haha. I’m currently running CTS intake,CTS intercooler,CTS inlet pipe and CTS turbo!! all in all Thank you CTS Turbo! Proud to have you here in Canada!

Well , I got an IE stage two tune and my stock turbo was done for within two days, I’m at an altitude of 1300meters above sea level …..was abit skeptical about the CTS I wasn’t sure it would last … but it surpasses all my expectations! Best replacement turbo on the market I would recommend ….
