The CTS Turbo MK7/7.5 Golf R 3″ cat-back exhaust system is hand tig welded using the finest T304 stainless steel. Our exhaust system was designed for both street use and big turbo abuse. Other MK7/7.5 Golf R exhausts that are currently available can choke peak power and limit the breathing due to their 2.5″ construction. The 3″ design of the CTS Turbo MK7/7.5 Golf R cat-back is ideal those of us chasing serious horsepower.

Super happy with this. I purchased mainly because my Golf R Mk7 OEM muffler had failed. The CTS catback system actually turned out to be significantly less expensive that replacing with OEM or other aftermarket parts, and it performs as advertised. Subtle growl under normal driving, with a more pronounced under more aggressive driving conditions. I don’t have a dyno so can’t speak to HP gains, but it certainly doesn’t slow the R down at all…
