Description
CTS Turbo VW/Audi 1.8T/2.0T TSI Turbo Outlet Pipe (EA888.1 and EA888.3) is designed to replace the narrow ‘pancake’ pipe that comes as factory equipment on your vehicle.
Our Turbo Outlet Pipe features 2.25″ diameter aluminum tube for optimized flow. The CNC machined billet mating flange makes connecting this TOP to your FMIC literally a snap. The billet anodized turbo to TOP connector, 2.25″ coupler and premium clamps top this package off. If you’re looking for a simple bolt-on modification that will optimize flow and increase power, then this part is for you.

Grommets were a headache and a half to install. Would be better if they came pre installed with the bolts already installed as well. (Like oem)

Hello,
A little WD40 will make installation of the rubber grommets a lot easier.
Hope this helps!

Good quality and a nice dress up for the engine bay. I added this with a CTS turbo muffler delete and saw a 3 psi increase from my boost gauge after installing the two together.

*Update: After about a week the check engine light turned off, rough idle stopped, and I don’t smell gas. I guess the ECU finally figured out what to do.*
I noticed an immediate difference after installing and going for a drive. Definitely felt a little more responsive with no apparent issues. I already have the intake installed, and I felt more of a difference with this part than when I put that in. After two days I got a check engine light with the P128800 code and a pretty rough idle. Cleared it, drove the next day and everything seems fine, idle and all. Two more days pass and the light is back on with the same code, but this time no crazy idling. I’m still unsure if there’s something I did wrong, if there’s a pre-existing issue like a leak/ dirty throttle/bad sensor, or if I need a tune that I can’t seem to find for an ’18 Beetle, or why the problem seems to be intermittent. I’d like to know if other customers had issues after they installed this part. Assuming the issue is completely my fault, it’s a nice product. 😅
